HIKERS AND CLIMBERS ...
... will feel particularly good at our organic farm in summer. Owing to the excellent location on 1300 meters altitude, various hiking trails pass directly through our farm. Here, there’s no need for an annoying drive to reach the summit, a bit of endurance suffices. Quaint alpine pastures on the path invite to relax and bask in the clear mountain air that cleanses your lungs and spirit.
In addition to this hiker’s paradise, our guests are offered a wide range of summertime activities to choose from. Whether it be the mesmerizing forces of nature illustrated by the Liechtensteinklamm or the mountain adventure world “WAGRAINi” – entertainment that suits all tastes.
The Liechtensteinklamm Gorge
The Großarl mountain stream has been eroding the rocks and thundering down inexorably into the Salzach river for thousands of years. The Liechtensteinklamm is one of the Alps’ longest and deepest gorges. About 1100 liters per second cascade down the ravine.
WAGRAINi’s Grafenberg Mountain World
From the Grafenberg mountain by raft or over the rope bridge to the theme path “The Busy Bee” onward down the “Hachau Slide” to the low rope course ... reach the “Swing Wood” after a break at the “Climbers’ Stadium”, move on to the “Path of Fascination” before going back to the “Children’s Pasture”. The 30- plus adventure stops guarantee fun for young AND old!
The Jaegersee Lake at Kleinarl
The lake provides, especially in summer, a good starting point for a day trip to one of the region’s most beautiful and untouched mountain landscapes – the Tappenkarsee lake. A stroll around the lake will be an unforgettable vacation experience for all rest-seekers.
The Eisriesenwelt (“The Ice-Giants’ World”)
Another highlight that can be reached within a merely 40-minutes ride to the town Werfen is the with its incredible total length of 42 kilometers largest ice cave in the world – the Eisriesenwelt, literally translated as “The Ice-Giants’ World”. In winter, cold air is sucked into the cave. Owing to the rising temperatures in spring, the ice begins to melt, causing water to seep into the rock’s cracks and pores, eventually freezing again. Through this and other complex processes, enormous, breathtaking ice- sculptures – the ”Ice Giants” – are formed.
The Adventure Spa Amadé
The diversified pool and wellness areas are a pure bliss: bathing in brine pools, or swimming in the wave pool with diving boards and an aquatic climbing wall – here, each and every family member will experience a fun adventure.
